Bank China Construction distributed IDR 14.26 trillion credits

JAKARTA – PT Bank China Construction Bank Indonesia (Tbk) (MCOR) has channelled credits amounted to IDR 14.26 trillion throughout Q1 2021. This number almost measured up to the credit distribution in 2020 of IDR 14.72 trillion.

In its Q1 2021 Financial Report, quoted Tuesday (4/5), You Wennan, the President Director of Bank China Construction, specified that the said amount of credits comprising IDR 10.14 trillion in rupiah and IDR 4.12 trillion in foreign currencies. The loans were primarily distributed to the working capital, followed by investment, consumers, and employee credits.

From the total distributed loans, the company reported the non-performing loans (NPL) of IDR 392.20 billion in Q1 2021. This number increased from IDR 371.20 billion in Q4 2020.

On the other hand, the third-party funds (DPK) were at IDR 18.34 trillion, almost matching up to December 2020’s DPK, IDR 18.45 trillion. The third-party fund mainly consisted of deposits amounting to IDR 13.61 trillion. Then, the current accounts and saving accounts (CASA) added IDR 3.65 trillion and IDR 1.65 trillion, respectively. Lastly, the net profit interest was recorded at IDR 173.86 billion, growing from IDR 147.39 billion in Q1 2020. (LK/ZH)
