Phapros posts IDR 7.18 billion profit in the first quarter of 2021

JAKARTA - PT Phapros Tbk (PEHA), a pharmaceutical company, posted a net profit of IDR 7.18 billion in the first quarter of 2021, surpassing the achievement in the same period last year which lost IDR 13.08 billion. This was conveyed by Hadi Kardoko, President Director of PT Phapros Tbk (PEHA) in an information disclosure quoted on Thursday (6/5).

The profit performance achievement in early 2021 was due to a significant decrease in other expenses from IDR 38.37 billion to IDR 1.43 billion and a growth in financial income from IDR 261.44 million to IDR 521.55 million.

From the sales aspect, PEHA recorded a decline in sales to IDR 225.29 billion from IDR 229.36 billion. Third parties contributed to sales of IDR 9.63 billion, down from IDR 13.38 billion, while sales contribution from related parties was stable at IDR 215.65 billion.

In the first quarter of 2021, the contribution of product sales for the over the counter (OTC) segment was IDR 30.28 billion, generic drugs with logo (OGB) IDR 125.41 billion, ethical IDR 62.71 billion, and toll-in (manufacturing) IDR 6.87 billion. (LK/LM)
