JAKARTA. Despite the declining current year’s profit of 2020 by 17.8%, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) would still distribute its dividend worth USD 18 million, equivalent to IDR 259.9 billion.
The action was decided after the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held last Wednesday (5/5). BRPT would allocate half of its profit in 2020 to dividend distribution again after it once failed to distribute its dividend in 2019.
In 2020, BRPT reported the current year’s profit attributable to the parent company of USD 36.27 million. It dropped 17.8% compared to USD 44.13 million in 2019. With the dividend amount of USD 18 million, the dividend payout ratio reached 50% of its net profit. (AM/ZH)
