Bank Oke EGMS approves third rights issue plan

JAKARTA - PT Bank Oke Indonesia Tbk (DNAR) plans to conduct a third rights issue with a maximum fund of IDR 500 billion. This was conveyed by Noni, Corporate Secretary Division Head of Bank Oke Indonesia in an information disclosure quoted on Friday (7/6).

He conveyed that the corporate action plan was approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) which took place yesterday (6/5). However, the implementation share price in the plan has not yet been determined in the EGMS. "Giving power to the board of directors to carry out all actions related to the limited public offering III," he said in the minutes of the EGMS.

The plan to issue shares is related to the company's efforts to strengthen its minimum core capital and expand credit to prospective customers. As of December 2020, Bank Oke has distributed loans of IDR 4.29 trillion, up 31.22% from the same period in 2019 of IDR 3.27 trillion. Total third party deposits in deposits were recorded at IDR 3.63 trillion, nauk 19.80% from IDR 3.03 trillion.

Currently, Bank Oke still has Rp 22.64 billion of proceeds from the rights issue two years ago, which will be used for lending. The remaining funds will be placed on BI Government Securities (RR-SBN) reverse repo for 7 days. (LK/LM)
