JAKARTA – PT Damai Sejahtera Abadi Tbk (UFOE), an electronic and furniture retailer, purchased land and building as an asset in Gresik, East Java, for IDR 27.4 billion. This asset would be used to expand warehousing capacity and subsequently boost the company’s revenue.
Lina Ariawati Harijono, the Corporate Secretary of UFOE, explained that the company bought the said asset from Puji Harianto, the President Commissary of UFOE and PT Damai Sejahtera Lestari Investama. “The fund used for this land and building purchase came from the IPO funds,” Harijono asserted in the information disclosure, quoted Tuesday (18/5).
The recently purchased building has an area of 3,669 m2, while the land itself is 7,877 m2. It is located in Ngargosari village, Gresik, East Java. The sale and purchase agreement was signed yesterday (17/5) after both parties enacted the commitment agreement on September 26, 2020.
In January 2021, UEFO launched an initial public offering (IPO), gathering IDR 46.20 billion funds in total. In addition to buying land and building, the said funds are also allocated to establishing two new stores. (LK/ZH)
