Sat Nusapersada’s profit dropped to USD 1.29 million

JAKARTA – The financial performance of PT Sat Nusapersada Tbk (PTSN), an electronic device manufacturer, in Q1 2021 was less impressive than Q1 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s profit was reported decreasing from USD 3.11 million to USD 1.29 million.

Abidin Fan, the President Director of Sat Nusapersada, reported that his company’s revenue only reached USD 31.74 million, which was lower than USD 39.86 million in Q1 2020. The main contributor to the revenue was electronic goods sales of USD 17.74 million, followed by assembly services by USD 14 million.

The domestic market added USD 13.48 million to the revenue, while the international market contributed USD 18.26 million. The market target of PTSN products included Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, France, and the Philippines.

The customers who brought in over 10% of the revenue were PT Xiaomi Technology Indonesia, Murata Manufacturing, PT Pegatron Technology Indonesia, Allied Telesis International, Asia Pte Ltd, and Asus Global Pte Ltd. (LK/ZH)
