JAKARTA - Motion Digital, the digital banking company of PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP), recruited the founder and President Director of PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH) Teddy Setiawan Tee.
"Teddy Tee joined on May 17, 2021 as Chief Operating Officer of Motion Digital banking, which is MNC Bank's digital banking," said MNC Group Executive Chairman Hary Tanoesoedibjo, Tuesday (18/5/2021).
Cashlez, which was founded by Teddy in 2015, is the first Fintech Payment Gateway company to debut on the Indonesian Stock Exchange with the ticker code CASH.
Teddy's joining is expected to accelerate the acceleration of Motion Digital, the MNC Bank digital bank - a business unit of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) - to be at the forefront in Indonesia through integration with other fintechs, such as e-money, virtual credit cards, and channeling via Peer-to-Peer Lending Platforms.
The target is, in the next 5 years, there are at least 30 million customers from Motion Digital, MNC Bank's digital banking. Motion Digital will optimize the conversion of more than 200 million MNC Group user base into its customers. (LM)
