Erajaya scores IDR 10.84 trillion in sales in Q1 2021

JAKARTA – PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), a cellphone distributor, records a significant sales increase in Q1 2021 compared to Q1 2020. This gain is linked to the increasing demand for devices and gadgets during work from home (WFH) and online school in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Budiarto Halim, the President Director of Erajaya, announces that the total sales have reached IDR 10.84 trillion, increasing from IDR 7.80 trillion in Q1 2020. The most significant contributor is the cellphone and tablet sales of IDR 8.77 trillion. The operator products followed with IDR 803.07 billion. Computer and other electronic gadgets add IDR 535.16 billion, and accessories and other products IDR 732.51 billion.

The leading suppliers owning more than 10% value in ERAA’s sales are Apple South Asia Pte Ltd., Singapore of IDR 3.8 trillion; PT Samsung Electronics Indonesia of IDR 2.23 trillion; and PT Xiaomi Technology Indonesia of IDR 856.69 billion.

ERAA also manages to report a net profit growth to IDR 315.81 billion from IDR 110.18 billion during this period. Its finance income also adds up to IDR 1.1 billion from IDR 623 million, while its financing-cost efficiency drops to minus IDR 38.59 billion from IDR 53.66 billion. (LK/ZH)
