Erick Thohir to replace Agus Terawan’s allies in BUMN

JAKARTA – Erick Thohir, the Minister of State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), assigns Laksono Trisnantoro as the President Commissary of PT Indofarma (Persero) Tbk (INAF), replacing Mayjen (Purn) Daniel Tjen. This new arrangement in the pharmaceutical state enterprise subtly demonstrates the attempt of clearing up the remaining figures related to the former Health Minister, Terawan Agus Putranto.

As quoted from the information disclosure on Monday (24/5), the decision to appoint Trisnantoro as the President Commissary of INAF was made in the Annual General Shareholders Meeting (RUPST) last week (20/5). Prior to this position, Trisnantoro was the Director of Health Management Policy of Medicine Faculty of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).

The President Commissary position used to be Daniel Tjen’s based on the RUPST on July 29, 2020. During this period, Tjen was also a member of the special staff of Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto and once took the position of the Head of the National Military Health Centre.

Aside from Tjen, Erick also replaced Mayjen (Purn) Alexander Kaliaga Ginting as the President Commissary of PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk (KAEF) in the RUPST last month (28/4). Ginting was known as one of the members of the special staff of Health Minister Putranto, taking KAEF’s President Commissary position last year. He used to be the Head of the Medical Committee of Army Hospital Gatot Subroto. (LK/ZH)
