JAKARTA. PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS) is set to distribute the final dividend of USD 75 million taken from the net profit of 2020.
This decision has been approved by the shareholders during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of GEMS earlier this month in Jakarta. The company had shared the interim dividend of USD 20 million and USD 30 million in December 2020 and January 2021.
“The remaining amount is USD 75 million, which would become the final dividend of the fiscal year 2020, equal to USD 0.01274 per share,” the management revealed in the information disclosure on Indonesia Stock Exchange.
This recent dividend distribution makes the total cash dividend distributed by GEMS reaching USD 125 million. The management has scheduled the cum date in the final market on May 19, 2021, and in the cash market on May 21, 2021. The disbursement would follow on May 28, 2021.
Besides the dividend distribution, the meeting also agreed to allocate USD 1 million to the mandatory reserve funds. The remaining USD 49.85 million would be stored as the retained earnings. (KR/ZH)
