JAKARTA – PT Abuki Jaya Stainless Indonesia (AJSI), the subsidiary of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), pairs up with PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA) to produce and sell gold microbars. Yulan Kustiyan, the Corporate Secretary of Antam, announced this arrangement in a press conference, quoted Monday (31/5).
It was mentioned that both parties signed the proof of concept (POC) of the production and sales of gold microbars last weekend (28/5). “The gold microbars goods are the alternative for premium gold investment in smaller pieces that are more affordable for the consumers in Indonesia,” Kustiyan explained.
The production and sales of these microbars would take from in gift series and premium packages of 0.1 gram and 0.25 gram pieces and 24k gold jewelry. The raw materials used for this product came from the processing and refining businesses for precious metals.
According to Kustiyan, this collaboration would be effective from July to December 31, 2021. However, the option for a longer term cooperation is open. This gold product development is a part of ANTM’s strategies to collect a more extensive base of precious metal customers following the public’s awareness in investing in jewelry and gold. (LK/ZH)
