JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WTON), the subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), announced its intention to distribute the cash dividend of IDR 25.62 billion, equivalent to IDR 2.94 per share. The dividend would be taken from the net profit of 2020.
Yuhemi Sisdwi Rachmiyati, the Corporate Secretary of WTON, asserted that this action aligned with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting on May 28, 2021.
Rachmiyati revealed that the company had set the cum date of the distribution for the regular and negotiation market by June 8, 2021. The date for the cash market was set for June 10, 2021. Then, the disbursement would follow on June 30, 2021.
Throughout 2020, the net profit of Wika Beton reached IDR 128.05 billion. The company also possessed retained earnings of IDR 1.12 trillion.
According to idnfinancials.com, by April 2021, WIKA controlled 60% of Wika Beton, while another 5.79% of WTON’s shares belonged to Kopertasi Karya Mitra Satya. Another 0.99% went to Yayasan Wijaya Karya, and the remaining 33.22% was dispersed among the public investors. (KR/ZH)
