JAKARTA - PT Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (IBFN) plans to take corporate action with the option of a private placement or rights issue related to the accumulated deficit and capital deficiency experienced by the company until December 2020. This was stated by Carolina Dina Rusdiana, President Director of PT Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (IBFN), in the disclosure of information quoted Thursday (3/6).

He conveyed that the COVID-19 pandemic had affected the company's financing performance. As of December 2020, the company experienced an accumulated deficit of IDR 1.18 trillion and a capital deficiency of IDR 322.30 billion. "The main cause of this condition is losses due to the application of PSAK 71 which is applied by the company," he said.

According to him, companies need to increase capital through a number of corporate action options to meet the capital ratio requirements. For the plan, he said, IBFN's parent company will be assisted so that business continuity is maintained.

As of December 2020, the company's revenue was minus IDR 35.71 billion, down from IDR 186.57 billion in December 2019, a loss for the year of IDR 598.09 billion, greater than IDR 117.93 billion. (LK/LM)
