Bank Net Syariah changes its name to Bank Aladin Syariah

JAKARTA – PT Bank Net Syariah (BANK) is officially modifying the company’s brand to PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk (BANK) after being approved and confirmed by the Financial Authority Sevices (lit. Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) last week (3/6).

Basuki Hidayat, the Operational Director of Bank Aladin Syariah, announces the brand alteration decision had been agreed upon during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting in April 2021. “It also had gained approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights regarding the brand change following the result of the shareholders meeting on April 12, 2021,” Hidayat confirms.

With this new brand, this company listed under the code of BANK is solidifying its operational segment within the shariah banking industry. This bank debuted on Indonesia Stock Exchange on February 1, 2021, after offering 5 billion shares in its IPO from January 25 to 27, 2021, with the execution price of IDR 103 each. This corporate action yielded IDR 515 billion funds in total.

BANK’s authorised capital after the IPO is at IDR 2.5 trillion, with the issued and paid-up capital of IDR 1.31 trillion. The stock ownership structure involves PT Alphaplus Adhigana Asia (AAA) 1.55%, PT NTI Global Indonesia (NGI) 60.55%, and public investors 27.90%. Prior to the IPO, BANK’s issued capital amounted to IDR 819.30 billion, owned by AAA 2.50% and NGI 95.90%. (LK/ZH)
