07 June 2021 14:18

JAKARTA – PT Mina Padi Investama Sekuritas Tbk (PADI) intends to offer 1,130,724,653 units of shares with the price of IDR 25 each through a rights issue. In this planned corporate action, PADI would also issue warrants with the same amount.

Martha Susanti, the Director of Mina Padi Investama Sekuritas, states that this plan would await approval in the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting on July 14, 2021. “The said corporate action would take place at least 12 months after receiving the effective statement from the Financial Services Authority (OJK),” Susanti continued in the information disclosure, quoted Monday (7/6).

According to Susanti, the rights issue funds would then be used to pay back bank loans, develop information technology and digitalisation, and improve working capital. The stockholder abstaining from this rights issue would have their stakes diluted by 16.7%.

As of March 31, 2021, PADI’s shares reach 11,307,246,534 units, with Eveline Listijosuputro owning 2.92%, Henry Kurniawan 0.23%, and the public 96,85%. Then, the boards of commissaries and directors of stockholders consist of Wijaya Mulia 0.21% and Djoko Joelianto 0.1%. (LK/ZH)
