JAKARTA. PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo) has just recently signed a term loan facility agreement from PT Bank HSBC Indonesia with the total amount of IDR 1.15 trillion.
This subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) received this loan facility on June 4, 2021. “The purpose of this facility agreement is to fulfil the general objective of Protelindo,” Irfan Ghazali, the Corporate Secretary of TOWR, explains in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
On the same occasion, Ghazali specifies that the loan is due June 4, 2025. He also reasserts that this loan facility is not considered a materal transaction, as its value does not exceed 20% of the company’s total equity.
According to idnfinancials.com, Protelindo also secures a bank loan from PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII) in February 2021. The one-year-tenor loan is also utilised to meet the general needs of Protelindo. (KR/ZH)
