Harum Energy projects a 50% revenue growth

11 June 2021 06:48

JAKARTA – PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM) predicts that the revenue scored by the end of this year would be 50% higher than the revenue in 2020 of USD 157.82 million. The realisation of this target would then raise the income as high as in 2019 of USD 262.59 million.

Quoted from the information disclosure on Friday (11/6), Ray Antonio Gunara, the Director of Harum Energy, claims that the said projection depends on the coal price level in the global market. “The targeted production increase is 25%, scoring 3.5 million tonnes. Assuming that the coals average selling price stays the same as in Q1 2021, the revenue could grow,” Gunara explains.

HRUM’s revenue comes from the contract made with the coals sales customers, heavy equipment rentals, hauling roads, and time, freight, and voyage charter. The primary contributor to the revenue is export to several countries in East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

In 2020, export to East Asia countries like China, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan added USD 184.09 million to the revenue. Then, the export to South Asia countries like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh contributed USD 33.79 million. The contribution from Southeast Asia countries export, such as Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam, reached USD 28.70 million. Meanwhile, the domestic market’s contribution added USD 11.23 million. (LK/ZH)
