96 companies yet to submit financial reports

JAKARTA – PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) reminds 96 companies to turn in their 2020 audited financial statements (lit. Laporan Keuangan Auditan/LKA) immediately. These 96 companies, comprising 88 listed companies and eight Exchange Trade Funds (ETF), have not yet submitted their LKA until May 31, 2021.

Quoted from the information disclosure on Friday (11/6), Goklas Tambunan, the Head of Company Valuation Division 3 of BEI, states that BEI has given the first written warning to the said companies. Based on the rules, the LKA provision is to be handed over by the end of the third month after the last LKA date.

BEI mentions that there are 780 companies listed on the exchange, including the Collective Investment Contract (lit. Kontrak Investasi Kolektif/KIK). Out of that number, 755 companies have provided their 2019 LKAs, seven companies have different fiscal years, 18 companies are under no obligation to file LKA’s, and there is one collective investment or mutual fund company (ETF). The other 17 companies are registered after December 31, 2020.

Out of all companies listed in BEI, 659 companies had submitted their 2020 financial reports. They are 617 listed companies, 38 ETFs, and four Real Estate Investment Funds-Collective Investment Contracts (lit. Dana Investasi Real Estate-Kontrak Investasi Kolektif/DIRE-KIK) and Infrastructure Investment Funds (lit. Dana Investasi Infrastruktur/DINFRA).

Then, there are seven companies with different fiscal years. They conclude their terms in January, March, and June. Three companies had submitted the interim financial statements on time, while the other four had not, though it is not yet overdue. Lastly, 18 companies are under no obligation to report their financial statements, comprising one ETF and 17 listed companies. (LK/ZH)
