JAKARTA – PT Mega Perintis Tbk (ZONE), a garment and textile manufacturer, would establish five more Salezone, a discounted lifestyle and sportswear store, to boost sales by the end of this year. Until April 2021, ZONE has owned four stores in several locations outside shopping centres.
Franxiscus Afat Adinata Nursalim, the President Director of PT Mega Perintis Tbk (ZONE), states that the company sees another potential market in visitors of toll road rest areas. “Our strategy is to implement some innovations to enhance offline and online sales. There are other potentials besides opening up stores in malls,” Nursalim explains through the public expose, Monday (14/6).
According to Nursalim, Salezone has been opened in Central Square, Sidoarjo, East Java. Furthermore, his company gathers up capital expenditure of IDR 37 billion to be spent on those needs, taken from the company’s internal treasury.
This year, ZONE aims to score IDR 485.92 billion in revenue, climbing by 48.70% from 2020 revenue of IDR 326.77 billion. The net profit is expected to reach IDR 10.36 billion, soaring high from IDR 34.88 billion loss last year. (LK/ZH)
