MTDL continues to add partners to facilitate gaming trends

JAKARTA - PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL), keeps adding new partners to its impressive line up by becoming the official distributor of TEAM Group Inc. through its subsidiary PT Synnex Metrodata Indonesia (“SMI”). TEAM Group Inc is a Taiwanese Company engaged in the Semiconductor industry with the main business of manufacturing electronic components, computers and peripheral equipment trading, common electronic materials, and electronic product trade. This collaboration aims to meet the ever-increasing demand for gaming consoles, PCs & Notebooks, along with the demand for computer components.

Susanto Djaja as the President Director of MTDL said, “As is well known, the pandemic has brought changes to the various ways we live our lives, including technology. This change has had an impact with the increase of demand in ICT products, even with the scarcity of raw materials for ICT products, such as semiconductor chips used for PCs and Notebooks. Product demand also increases along with the trend of gaming as entertainment at home. So in our effort to become a one-stop solution for gaming products, we continue to add partnerships, namely with TEAM Group Inc to market Memory, Flash & Components such as T-Force, T-Create, Team Flash Card, and Team USB Flash Drive which will target the standard users, gamers, and creators segment.”

According to a Newzoo report, the gaming market will reach US$189.3 billion in 2021, so this is an opportunity for MTDL to continue to grow. Through the collaboration with TEAM Group Inc, MTDL will market and sell Memory, Flash & Components products, namely T-Force (gaming memory with DDR4 overclocking performance capability), T-Create (gaming memory boasting higher stability, high performance, and effectiveness), Team Flash Card (with various capacities and speeds), and Team USB Flash Drive (in various capacities and speeds ranging from 2.0 - 3.2 as well as a complete array of colors and materials to choose from).

SMI will provide TEAM Group Inc with business channels so that it can be distributed throughout Indonesia, from traditional IT markets to modern markets on E-commerce and digital platforms. SMI will carry out the Go to Market Framework strategy in line with developing market recognition and utilizing channel sales opportunities that reach more than 150 cities in 20 strategic areas in Indonesia through the support of more than 5,200 channel partners and ensuring that it can provide a variety of product services and solutions with world-class quality.
