Kapuas Prima Coal sales grow by 36.98% in Q1 2021

JAKARTA – PT Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk (ZINC) reports significant growth in sales and profit in Q1 2021 from its achievement in Q1 2020. Furthermore, the company also scores an increasing rental income and foreign exchange gains.

Harjanto Widjaja, the President Director of PT Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk (ZINC), reveals that the sales reach IDR 228.40 billion, soaring 36..98% from IDR 166.47 billion. Its gross profit also goes up to IDR 113.28 billion from IDR 50.44 billion.

ZINC manages to score earnings before tax of IDR 80.91 billion, growing from IDR 21.49 billion. This number results from the foreign exchange gains of IDR 1.25 billion, an increased rental income of IDR 75 million, and other revenues of IDR 10.10 billion. This condition also drives the profit upward to IDR 64.68 billion from IDR 15.94 billion.

The most significant contributor is zinc (Zn) sales of IDR 108.63 billion, followed by silver (Ag) of IDR 43.80 billion, iron concentrate of IDR 32.79 billion, lead (Pb) glance or galena of IDR 39.23 billion, and iron ores of IDR 3.93 billion. (LK/ZH)
