JAKARTA. PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) intends to acquire new contracts by the end of this year worth over IDR 1.5 trillion, aided by several fresh contacts within the mining sector.

Rully Noviandar, the President Director of PPRE, claims that there would be at least three new contracts secured by the company by the end of 2021. “They came from the nickel mines in North Morowali and Halmahera, which are the biggest nickel mines in Indonesia,” Noviandar adds in an official statement received by idnfinancials.com.

Noviandar discloses that the contract acquisition from the mining service sector would optimise PPRE’s resources and assets. He also sees the mining sector as one of the most stable income sources for his company. PPRE has now added the mining service business line to its long-term portfolio.

As of May 2021, the new contracts of PPRE have reached IDR 2.2 trillion, of which 91% are from the private sector. Another 31% of the new arrangements come from the mining sector. (KR/ZH)
