JAKARTA – Yusuf Mansur obtains 250 million units of shares of PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) from Winfly Ltd, a subsidiary affiliated with PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP). This stock acquisition also comes in with the commitment by Yusuf Mansur to promote and open a MotionBanking account.
Heru Sulistiadhi, the Corporate Secretary of PT Bank MNC International Tbk (BABP), claims that partnering with Yusuf Mansur is a strategic cooperative measure to gain more MotionBanking users. “This cooperation aims to extend the scope of MotionBanking rapidly,” Sulistiadhi adds in the information disclosure, quoted Tuesday (22/6).
Yusuf Mansur is a well-known Islamic scholar and speaker (Ustad). By associating with Mansur, BABP hopes that its electronic banking product could reach at least 10 million Indonesians across several countries, like South Korea, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. It also targets Daarul Quran Tahfidz Boarding School that has 48 branches across the country. (LK/ZH)
