Antam and Hartadinata Abadi launch EmasKITA and Kencana

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), together with subsidiaries PT Abuki Jaya Stainless Indonesia (AJSI), and PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (Hartadinata) synergize to launch two innovative gold products, namely EmasKITA and Kencana.

EmasKITA (Emas Kecil Investasi Terpercaya dan Aman) is a micro precious metal (99.99%) in 0.1 gram and 0.25 gram denominations which is specially designed to be accessible to all Indonesian people. Meanwhile, Kencana (Keindahan Terpercaya dan Bermakna) is the first and only gold jewelry collection with 99.99% gold content in Indonesia.

ANTAM's Director of Operations and Business Transformation, Risono said that the synergy between ANTAM and Hartadinata was the implementation of the Company's strategy to penetrate into the micro precious metal and gold jewelry segment in the domestic market.

"This collaboration will certainly open up more precious metal investment opportunities for all Indonesian people. Previously, gold investment could only be reached by the upper middle class, now all levels of society can invest in EmasKITA whose products are safe, quality, and affordable," said Risono.

In this synergy, ANTAM acts as a supplier of pure gold (999.9) from the Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit (UBPP LM). This gold raw material is then processed into micro precious metals and gold jewelry at the Hartadinata Factory located in Bandung, West Java. The production process is directly supervised by PT Abuki Jaya Stainless Indonesia (AJSI) as ANTAM's subsidiary. (LM)
