Wijaya Karya secures syndicated loans of IDR 6 trillion

JAKARTA – PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) is granted IDR 6 trillion loans by a syndicated bank facility to support the construction of Serang-Panimbrang toll road in Banten. Mahendra Vijaya, the Corporate Secretary of WIKA, conveys the news in the information disclosure, quoted Wednesday (23/6).

It is mentioned that the syndicated bank loan and financing facility line agreements had been signed last week (18/6). “The collected fund would be distributed to the construction and preparation phases for this toll operation,” Vijaya explains.

This syndicated loan would be utilised by PT Wijaya Karya Serang Panimbrang (WKSP), WIKA’s subsidiary. The creditors are PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) Jawa Tengah, BPD Papua, BPD Sumatera Utara, BPD Jabar dan Banten Tbk (BJBR), BPD Sulawesi Selatan dan Sulawesi Barat, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur Syariah, PT Bank Aceh Syariah, PT Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk, and PT Bank Sumut Syariah.

The total of this credit facility reaches 36.04% of WIKA’s total equity in 2020 of IDR 16.65 trillion. (LK/ZH)
