JAKARTA. PT Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (IBFN) is set to welcome investors willing to be its strategic partners following the significant loss due to increased reserve in 2020.
The President Director of IBFN, Carolina Dina Rusdiana, through a public expose incidental on Monday (28/6), announced that the company is creating partnership opportunities for any investors interested in strategic collaboration. It aims to synergically drive the company’s recovery.
IBFN launched a public expose incidental following the exchange regulation after a public accountant disclaimer regarding a net loss of IDR 598 billion in 2020. This loss was a result of quite a high increment in reserve for impairment.
“[It] causes violation in ratios regarding capitalisation set by the Financial Services Authority (OJK),” Rusdiana admitted through the official announcement, Monday (28/6).
Rusdiana states her optimism regarding obtaining new investors in 2021, who could bring in fresh funds to enhance the company’s working capital. It would help IBFN to meet the minimum requirements as defined by the authority. (AM/ZH)
