JAKARTA. PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) is about to offer 14.48 billion new shares by giving preemptive rights, or a rights issue, to secure USD 125.2 billion funds, equivalent to IDR 1.82 trillion.

Riri Hosniari Harahap, the Corporate Secretary of ENRG, reveals that the outstanding shares would equal 58.33% of the total issued and paid-up capital. The nominal price is set to IDR 100 each, with the execution price of IDR 126 per share.

“The old stockholders abstaining from exercising their rights in this third rights issue would have their stock portion diluted by a maximum of 58.33%,” Harahap continues, as stated in the released prospectus.

The stand-by buyer in this action would be PT Bakrie Kalila Investment. Next, one of the companies from Bakrie Group would take over and purchase the remaining stock portion unclaimed by the old stockholders.

The rights issue would occur from July 6 to 14, 2021. The full payment by the buyers would be sent out on July 21, 2021.

Currently, 13.54% of ENRG is controlled by PT Valbury Sekuritas Indonesia. Greenwich International Ltd owns another 9.67%, Reignwood Inter Investment 8.69%, and public investors share the remaining 60.72%. (KR/ZH)
