JAKARTA – PT Kino Indonesia Tbk (KINO) holds the license of 14 products of PT Ristra Laboratoris Indonesia (RLI) for the next 10 years. Budi Muljono, the Director of Kino Indonesia, conveys the news through the information disclosure, quoted Monday (5/7).
According to Muljono, the amount of the royalty for this trademark transfer equals 1% of the annual net sales. “This transaction considers to support the said brand development,” Muljono adds.
Several of the transferred trade names are products of cosmetics, beauty, and aromatherapies. RLI is a subsidiary of KINO with 99% ownership. This license agreement is effective until December 31, 2031, and is extendable.
In Q1 2021, KINO scores sales of IDR 946.26 billion, lower than IDR 1.11 trillion in the same period last year. The gross and net profit each reaches IDR 466.73 billion and IDR 17.01 billion, both decreasing from the same period in 2020 of IDR 555.70 billion and IDR 57.95 billion. (LK/ZH)
