DSSA’s profit skyrockets in Q1 2021
JAKARTA. PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) records its current year’s profit in Q1 2021 of USD 62.59 million, jumping as high as 389.29% from USD 12.79 million in the same period last year.
This surge in the current year’s profit attributable to the parent entity is a result of suppressing the operational costs down by 6.65% to USD 85.09 million from USD 91.16 million in Q1 2020. The foreign exchange gain is also reported to increase to USD 2.81 million in Q1 2021 after suffering from a loss of USD 13.6 million in Q1 2020. Furthermore, the declining interest expenses from USD 25.36 million to USD 13.35 million also contribute to the soaring current year’s profit in Q1 2021.
In its financial report released on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), DSSA mentions some positive and growing numbers. They include the increasing revenue of 17.22% to USD 488.36 million from USD 416.58 million, the operating profit that jumps 90.20% from USD 67.84 million to USD 129.03 million, and the gross profit that shifts 34.66% upward to USD 214.12 million from USD 159 million.
