EP ID now owns 76.8% of CENT

JAKARTA – EP ID Holdings Pte Ltd raises its ownership portion in PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (CENT) to 76.8% after buying 10.290,543,417 units of its shares. The number equals 33% of CENT’s entire issued and paid-up capital.

In the information disclosure, quoted Friday (9/7), Wiwik Septriandewi, Corporate Secretary of Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia, claims that the recent transaction is EP ID’s strategy to expand its business in Indonesia, particularly in the telecommunication provider business. “The total stock ownership of EP ID increases to 23,948,706,212 shares,” Septriandewi adds.

EP ID purchases 33% of CENT’s stock previously owned by Clover Universal Enterprise Ltd. Prior to the transaction, Clover was the stock controller of 43.79% of CENT’s total issued and paid-up capital. Its portion is now reduced to 14.95%. EP ID, a Singaporean-based company, invests approximately IDR 2.03 trillion in this transaction, buying shares for IDR 198 each.

The stockholder of EP ID is EP Asia Holdings, LP, a fund vehicle managed by EP Asia Holdings GP LLC. It is also registered under DigitalBridge Group, a company listed on New York Stock Exchange. (LK/ZH)
