JAKARTA – PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA), the health laboratory and clinics operator, records an increasing demand for healthcare services and medical check-ups three times the normal amount in the early week of Community Activity Restriction (PPKM). This policy would be applied from July 2 to July 20, 2021.
Marina Eka Amalia, Legal Head and Corporate Secretary of Prodia, reveals that PRDA notices surges in home services, esoteric tests, and medical check-ups via Prodia Mobile compared to previous days before the PPKM initiation. “As of July 7, 2021, the esoteric test request has doubled,” Amalia confirms in a performance progress press conference, quoted Friday (9/7).
In Q1 2021, total check-ups clock up to 4.2 million, visiting numbers hit 833,260, and esoteric testings exponentially jump by 279.7% to 516,711 tests. PRDA is currently managing 56 branch offices across Indonesia.
Furthermore, Prodia is reported to be currently participating in private vaccination programmes, “Gotong Royong” vaccination, in several qualified health facilities until next year. Until today, 17 of its branches partner with Public Health Office to help conducting private vaccination programmes. (LK/ZH)
