JAKARTA – PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) spends another USD 23.3 million on its 14th instalment for the principal loan of Tranche A, consisting of principal balance of USD 15.9 million and interest of USD 7.4 million. Dileep Srivastava, Director of Bumi Resources, reveals in the information disclosure, quoted Friday (9/7).
According to Srivastava, by depositing this payment, BUMI has now covered its USD 365 million debt in cash through the facility agent. The number comprise a principal value of Tranche A of USD 211.7 million and interest of USD 153.3 million. “It includes accrual and back interests,” Srivastava discloses further.
It is mentioned that the instalment payment for Trance A is due in October 2021. The payment-in-kind (PIK) coupon from April 11, 2018, to July 9, 2021, for Tranche B and C had also been capitalised. (LK/ZH)
