JAKARTA. PT Asuransi Ramayana Tbk (ASRM), an insurance company owning assets of IDR 1.52 trillion, would give out the cash dividend of IDR 46 per share. It adds up to IDR 13.99 billion.
Parlindungan Manurung, Corporate Secretary of Asuransi Ramayana, explains that the plan follows the decision of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting last week. In the said meeting, the shareholders agreed to allot 21.34% of the total net profit of 2020 as the cash dividend.
Meanwhile, the remaining net profit, amounting to IDR 39.12 billion, is stored as the unrestricted retained earnings. As an additional note, the total net profit secured by the company in 2020 was IDR 65.55 billion.
The cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market is set to July 16, 2021. Then, the cum date in the cash market follows on July 19, 2021. The recording would take place on July 21, 2021, while the dividend payment would be sent out on August 9, 2021.
According to idnfinancials.com, until December 2020, 31% of ASRM is controlled by Syahril, its president director. Another 19.17% belongs to Aloysius Winoto Doeriat, 11.39% to Wirastuti Puntaraksma, 10.57% to PT Ragam Venturindo, and 10% to Korean Reinsurance Company.
