JAKARTA - During the Implementation of the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) which will take place from 3-20 July 2021, the Government requires everyone who will travel by air to show a negative PCR/Antigen swab test result and proof that they have been vaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of every passenger while traveling and suppress the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In this regard, PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA) is one of 742 laboratories affiliated with the Ministry of Health so that the results of the PCR and Prodia Antigen swab examinations can be used as flight requirements.

Based on information from kemkes.go.id, it was stated that, "Currently there are 742 laboratories affiliated with the Ministry of Health and entering data into the New All Record (NAR). So that only PCR/Antigen swab results from affiliated laboratories can be used as flight requirements. With this new mechanism, passenger health checks are carried out at the time of departure and not at the time of arrival so as to make passengers feel safer and more comfortable," said Indonesian Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin on the website.

The list of 742 laboratories affiliated with the Ministry of Health has been included in the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. HK.01.07/MENKES/4642/2021 concerning the Organization of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Examination Laboratory. The Prodia Laboratories included in the list are Prodia Kramat branch, Central Jakarta; Prodia Surabaya, East Java; Prodia Medan branch, North Sumatra; Prodia Denpasar branch, Bali Province; and the Makassar branch of Prodia, South Sulawesi.

The Company continues to contribute to assisting the Government in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic through the provision of COVID-19 screening tests using the rapid test method, EIA antibody serology tests, and COVID-19 RT-PCR. In 2020, the Company has served more than 1 million COVID-19 tests in Indonesia. As of June 2021, the Company has served more than 630 thousand COVID-19 tests. (LM)
