Austindo Nusantara to transfer out all treasury stock

14 July 2021 18:26

JAKARTA. PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJT) announces its plan to sell the entirety of its treasury stock that was obtained through shares buyback on June 30, 2015, amounting to 115.65 million shares.

Lucas Kuniawan, Vice Director of ANJT, claims that the company should have transferred the remaining treasury stock before June 30, 2021. However, the company requested a period extension to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) due to the fluctuating market condition.

The selling of the treasury stock would take place outside Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Several parties to participate as buyers are PT Austindo Kencana Jaya (AKJ), PT Memimpin Dengan Nurani (MDN), George Santosa Tahija, Sjakon George Tahija, and Yayasan Tahija. Each would purchase 42.3 million shares at most.

“The transfer of the remaining treasury stock would be initiated at least 14 days after this information has been disclosed,” Kurniawan adds in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange earlier today (14/7).

As an additional record, ANJT’s stock price is closed at IDR 610 per share today. Should the treasury stock sales refer to this price, ANJT could potentially gain IDR 70.55 billion from the transaction. (KR/ZH)
