JAKARTA – PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (JRPT) had invested IDR 155.61 billion in repurchasing its stock, or shares buyback, of 309,982,800 shares for an average price of IDR 502 each. Yohannes Henky Wijaya, Vice President Director of Jaya Real Property, relays the news in the information disclosure, quoted Friday (16/7).
It is mentioned that the said corporate action took place in six periods of transactions with different prices and numbers of shares from December 2020 to July 2021. The transaction occurred in the fluctuating market condition, hitting the highest level at IDR 565 per share and the lowest at IDR 399 per share.
The highest transaction was reported from April 7 to July 5, 2021, involving 125,964,300 shares for IDR 492 each, equivalent to 95.79% of the entire offered shares. Meanwhile, the buyback with the least number of transaction occurred from March 13 to June 2020, only trading 12,329,900 units, equal to 5.06% of the entire stock to be purchased. (LK/ZH)
