JAKARTA - Tokko, an online store creation platform, has just announced its collaboration with the popular digital wallet application LinkAja. This collaboration was created with the aim of educating MSMEs in Indonesia in digitizing their business through the creation of an online store channel through the free website feature provided by Tokko.
This collaboration targets more than 65,000 LinkAja merchants who will receive digital training through webinars and also assistance in efforts to digitize their business with the educational method provided by the Tokko application. The inauguration of the cooperation was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) which was carried out virtually by the two representatives from PT. Beegroup Financial Indonesia (Tokko) and PT. Fintek Karya Nusantara (LinkAja) on July 2, 2021.
Representing Tokko, VP of Acquisition and Growth of PT Beegroup Financial Indonesia, Arlan Andhika said this collaboration was the first step of Tokko's long journey to take a role in the digitalization of MSMEs in Indonesia through digital technology. The current pandemic condition has certainly made MSME actors faced with business uncertainty because of their dependence on offline transactions.
In the early stages of the collaboration, Tokko and LinkAja will run a pilot project in the form of online training through webinars that will be provided by Tokko to LinkAja partners, who sell various products in categories such as food, beverages, clothing, beauty and health, as well as household needs.
This strategic collaboration between Tokko and LinkAja also aims to support MSME partners from Tokko to get wider visibility so that Tokko partners can reach LinkAja users through special banners that will be displayed on the LinkAja application. Especially during the PPKM period, this initiative is also expected to help LinkAja merchants transform their business from offline to online. (LM)
