23 July 2021 06:31

JAKARTA – PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) partners up woth PT Aplikasi Anak Bangsa to provide a digital payment service for its users through Gojek. This collaboration acts as the next step of Gojek’s investment in ARTO in December 2020.

Tjit Siat Fun, Director of Compliance of Bank Jago, claims that the partnership with Gojek would offer a new user experience. It includes saving money and time to top up their balance in Gojek. “The Kantong Jago application could be used for many purposes. It varies from holiday fund, investment, shopping, education, and special feature connected with Gojek,” Fun further explains in a press conference, quoted Friday (23/7).

For instance, the user could allocate 50% of their monthly income according to their daily needs through Kantong Jago integrated feature. The needs may include transportation, shopping, and snacking through GoFood. Furthermore, the user’s balance would be automatically transferred and retain its transaction history.

From Gojek's side, Nila Marita, Chief Corporate Affairs of Gojek, claims that the integration with Bank Jago would add another cashless payment option in Gojek. “Every transaction of Bank Jago users would be automatically taken out of the reserved balance in Kantong Jago app that is linked with Gojek,” Marita further elaborates.
