H1 2021, PTPP secures new contracts of IDR 8.5 trillion

JAKARTA. PT PP Tbk (PTPP) obtains new contracts worth IDR 8.5 trillion in H1 2021. Out of the said amount, 40% is a contribution of its subsidiary. The remaining 60% comes from the parent company, particularly the construction and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services sector.

Yuyus Juarsa, Corporate Secretary of PTPP, reveals that the infrastructure projects from the state and its enterprises dominate 96% of the total contracts. State-owned enterprises make up 61% of the contract, the government 35%, and private 4%.

Until June 2021, PTPP still handles several infrastructure projects. They are Mandalika International Street Circuit in West Nusa Tenggara (81.75% completed), Patimban Port in West Java (75.10%), Semarang-Demak toll road in Central Java (44.60%), RDMP Balikpapan JO RU V in East Kalimantan (37.40%), KIT Batang Cluster I Phase I (96.24%), Kolaka Smelter in Southeast Sulawesi (18.97%), and SGAR Mempawah in West Kalimantan (16%).

“With these new contracts, PTPP ensures its commitment to supporting the government in solidifying the industry sector to boost the national economy,” Juarsa concluded in the official statement Thursday (22/7). (AM/ZH)
