Guna Makmur Raya raises its stock portion in TRUK

JAKARTA – PT Guna Makmur Raya (GMR) has increased its stock ownership to 60.17% in PT Guna Timur Raya Tbk (TRUK) during a two-day transaction yesterday (21-22/7). In order to gain its extra portion, GMR invested IDR 193 billion.

In the information disclosure, quoted on Friday (23/7), Carolina Kusuma, Director of GMR, states that GMR’s portion in TRUK was 55.55%, or 241,655,000 shares, prior to the transaction on Wednesday (21/7). Then, after purchasing 10.46 million shares for IDR 95.25 each, rounding up to IDR 996.31 million, its ownership rises to 57.96%, or 252,115,000 units.

In the transaction occurring yesterday (22/7), GMR once again purchased 9,642,500 shares for IDR 97.6 each, or IDR 941.10 million in total. Therefore, GMR’s portion in TRUK is once again boosted, now to 60.17% or 261,757,500 shares.

As of June 2021, TRUK’s shares amounted to 435 million. GMR owned 55.55%, and the public shared the remaining 44.45%. As an additional record, Kusuma also acts as the President Commissary of TRUK. (LK/ZH)
