JAKARTA. PT Batulicin Nusantara Maritim Tbk (BESS) set the target of operating revenue growth to 9.97%, equal to IDR 325 billion, for this year. It is considering the apparent and consistent rise of the coal price since the end of 2020.
Yuliana, Director of Batulicin Nusantara Maritim, claims that the realisation of BESS’s revenue in 2020 reached IDR 295.53 billion. It is higher than the target set last year of IDR 192.5 billion. Furthermore, the said realisation for 2020 revenue grows 22.95% from the revenue realisation in 2019.
Although the details of the realisation of its revenue in H1 2021 are not yet released, Yuliana is confident that BESS’s performance in the first half of the year still goes according to the target and would continue to do so until the end of the year. “The growth in the performance and demand in the first half of the year would continue. Then, the realisation would hit the mark (of the targeted revenue),” she adds.
In addition to the continuously increasing coal price, Yuliana projects to gain IDR 325 billion in revenue this year, with an estimated net profit of IDR 62.5 billion. In Q1 2021, its operating income had reached IDR 97.34 billion, soaring 65.88% from IDR 58.68 billion in Q1 2020, while its profit skyrocketed by 365.9% to IDR 26.09 billion. (AM/ZH)
