JAKARTA. The net profit of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) jumps as high as 21.32% in the first half of 2021 to IDR 502 billion.
SIDO financial report reveals that the sales within the first six months of 2021 have reached IDR 1.65 trillion, growing 13.01% from the same period last year in 2020 of IDR 1.46 trillion. Out of this number, herbal medicines and supplements add IDR 1.06 trillion. It increases from IDR 923.19 billion made last year. The foods and beverages sector contributes IDR 526.24 billion, rising from IDR 469.16 billion. However, the pharmaceutical goods sector slightly depletes to IDR 67.09 billion from IDR 67.35 billion.
On the other hand, selling and marketing expenses, as well as general and administrative expenses, would surely decrease the net profit by the end of H1 2021. Fortunately, it still reaches IDR 502 billion or increasing 21.32% year-on-year (yoy). (AM/ZH)
