JAKARTA. The net profit of PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPN Syariah) proliferates to IDR 770 billion in Q2 2021, experiencing an 89% surge. This gain goes hand in hand with a 15% year-on-year (yoy) revenue growth, now scoring over IDR 10 trillion.
Although its financing distribution growth also increases significantly, BTPN Syariah manages to control its non-performing loan (NPL) rate down to 2.4%. “We are still prioritising the healthy financing quality. During these challenging times, we are truly maintaining and connecting with our financing customers,” Hadi Wibowo, President Director of BTPN Syariah, confirmed in a press release yesterday (27/7).
Other than operational performance, its financial performance also sees an improvement. Its total assets grow by 14%, from IDR 15.27 trillion to IDR 17.41 trillion. Its third-party funds also increase 12%, from IDR 9.46 trillion to IDR 10.61 trillion. Furthermore, its capital adequacy ratio (CAR) is still 52%, way above the industry average.
Wibowo further explains that the key to success throughout this current pandemic is to establish an intensive relationship with the users and understand their needs while keeping their optimism alive so that they feel supported at all times. (AM/ZH)
