Siloam sees a 51.66% surge in its revenue in H1 2021

JAKARTA – The revenue of PT Siloam International Hospital Tbk (SILO) soars 51.66% in the first half of 2021 compared to the gain reported in the same period last year. This significant gain results from the increased inpatient care facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In its Financial Report H1 2021 quoted on Thursday (29/7), Darjoto Setyawan, President Director of Siloam International Hospital, reveals that the total revenue has reached IDR 3.81 trillion, growing from IDR 2.51 trillion. Hospitalisation services bring in IDR 2.07 trillion to the revenue, increasing from IDR 1.36 trillion last year. Meanwhile, out-patient care facilities contribute IDR 1.73 trillion, also shifting upward from IDR 1.15 trillion.

The gross profit is reported to jump as high as 87% to IDR 1.78 trillion from IDR 956.40 billion after efficiency is applied in the revenue cost. Its operating profit also proliferates by 99% to IDR 493.81 billion from IDR 4.93 billion. Lastly, its current year’s profit is already at IDR 32.09 billion, being revived from IDR 129.37 billion losses last year. (LK/ZH)
