Suryamas Dutamakmur weakly reaches 32.8% of its marketing sales target

JAKARTA. Until the first half of 2021, PT Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk (SMDM) has only managed to secure 32.8% of this year’s marketing sales target, or IDR 173.7 billion out of IDR 530 billion.

Ferry Suhardjo, Director and Corporate Secretary of Suryamas Dutamakmur, specifies that the real estate segment pitches in IDR 111.7 billion, or 64.3% of the total marketing sales in H1 2021. Then, the golf segment follows with IDR 27.7 billion.

According to Suhardjo, his company would not revise the marketing sales target of IDR 530 billion in 2021, despite the Emergency Community Activities Restriction (PPKM) enforcement this July. “We are still highly assured that the 2021 target could be met as long as the COVID-19 pandemic could be quickly put under control, bank’s interest rate is still low, and there is an accessible down payment and payment method flexibility,” Suhardjo further elaborates, as quoted by Kontan.co.id recently.

Suhardjo adds that this year, the company would pay more attention to operational efficiency and maintain the sales within the existing cluster. (AM/ZH)
