JAKARTA – PT Bank Danamon Tbk (BDMN) has disbursed the total financing of IDR 123.08 trillion throughout the first half of 2021. It is a smaller amount compared to December 2020 of IDR 126.49 trillion. Furthermore, the non-performing loan (NPL) rate is 10% out of the total channelled credit.

In its Financial Report H1 2021, Yasushi Itagaki, President Director of Bank Danamon, specifies the distributed credit. It consists of IDR 101.29 trillion loans, consumer financing of IDR 21.62 trillion, and finance lease of IDR 231.30 billion. Bank Danamon obtains IDR 9.06 trillion in interest income this period. It is lower than the number reported in the same period last year of IDR 10.29 trillion. This stagnation is due to the growth being supported only by Government Bonds.

The loans generate IDR 4.44 trillion to the income, declining from IDR 5.01 trillion last year. Furthermore, consumer financing also slides off from IDR 4.19 trillion to IDR 3.35 trillion, as well as securities and other bills from IDR 501.73 billion to IDR 396.19 billion.
