JAKARTA. PT Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk (TBLA) has allocated IDR 900 billion for its capital expenditure this year, which would be aimed towards building four factories.

The company, operating in the palm oil and sugar agribusiness sector, is revealed to be on its way to establishing four factories on Way Lunik, Lampung, by the end of this year.

Hardy Phan, Corporate Secretary of Tunas Baru Lampung, explains that these four factories consist of refineries with a capacity of 2,500 tons per day, biodiesel factories of 1,500 tons per day, a refined glycerine factory, and a glycerine reesterification facility.

The expansion would take up funds from the allocated capital expenditure of IDR 900 billion. This CapEx uses up its cash by 35% and bank loans of 65%. “The budget of IDR 900 billion includes the cost needed from routine maintenance,” Phan confirmed, as quoted by Kontan.co.id last week. (AM/ZH)
