JAKARTA - PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) through its subsidiary PT Enseval Putra Megatrading, Tbk (EPMT) continues to increase the utilization of the EMOS digital healthcare platform.

The COVID-19 pandemic situation has caused many distribution channels or customers to experience problems in the supply chain, so that they cannot properly meet consumer demand for pharmaceutical, health and consumer goods products. For this reason, Kalbe has optimized the EMOS (Electronic Mobile Order System) application, a digital B2B order application or platform that makes it easy for pharmacies, shops and other health product distribution business actors to order pharmaceutical and health products, so that the availability of quality health products in their pharmacies, clinics, hospitals and stores is well fulfilled to be able to serve the needs of the community.

"In the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Kalbe continues to increase the use of online platforms and digital technology with the aim of providing health services and products for the community, who are currently mostly at home," said President Director of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk Vidjongtius. "In the future, this digital platform will become a health product supply chain ecosystem that can be utilized by the public and business actors in the health industry," he said.

Since its launch in 2016, EMOS has been used by various sales channels including pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, drug stores, mini markets, dairy stores, baby supply stores and grocery stores throughout Indonesia. Currently, the EMOS application is not only used by Enseval but has been used by principal partners and other distributors. The EMOS application has presented products belonging to more than 100 principals, used by more than 100 distributors spread throughout Indonesia. (LM)
