DMMX revenue grows 65.2% in first half

JAKARTA - PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk (“DMMX”) continued forging its growth story with 1H21 revenue and attributable net profit growing 65.2% YoY and 541.4% YoY, to Rp363.6 billion and Rp115.8 billion, respectively. Top-line growth was largely driven by sturdy expansion of cloud advertising and trade marketing segment. 

DMMX’s digital cloud advertising (Managed Services and Infrastructure-as-a-Services) segment delivered strong top-line growth of 107.6% YoY to Rp11.9 billion in 1H21, largely attributable to healthy screen deployment activities. Trade marketing segment revenues grew at 65.9% YoY growth to reach Rp284.2 billion in 1H21, buttressed by an 52.8% YoY increase in number of Pojok Bayar outlet members to 99,189 as of end June 2021.

1H21 attributable net profit skyrocketed by 541.4% YoY to Rp115.8 billion, driven to organic expansion of operations and investment gains. DMMX maintains a nimble financial position with a net cash position of Rp233.6 billion as of end June 2021 and treasury shares worth Rp1.3 trillion (based on closing price of 28 July 2021), leaving plenty of headroom and firepower to finance continued ad spot network expansion efforts and development of digital contents business.
