Fund-raising activities of 48 companies in the exchange score IDR 34.4 trillion

JAKARTA. The fund-raising initiatives of 48 companies, including the issuance of shares, bonds, and sukuk, in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in H2 2021 are projected to generate IDR 34.4 trillion.

I Gede Nyoman Yetna, Director of Company Evaluation I of IDX, reveals that there are 48 companies in the pipeline, queuing to issue shares, bonds, and sukuk. There are 25 potential companies in the shares category, projected to gather IDR 5.5 trillion by July 30, 2021. Meanwhile, in the bonds and sukuk category, there are 23 companies with an estimated raised funds of IDR 28.9 trillion.

“With the remaining five months into the end of 2021, the possible amount of collected funds could surpass the previously stated IDR 34.4 trillion,” Yetna clarified further yesterday (4/8).

On the other hand, within the first six months in 2021, the funds secured in the exchange amounted to IDR 61.7 trillion. It comprises bonds and sukuk of 37 companies that scored IDR 54 trillion and 27 new companies listed in the exchange that gained IDR 7.7 trillion. (AM/ZH)
